Whether you're a vendor or a reseller, this guide will help you set up essential features for a seamless Kamel experience.
Vendor Customization: Crafting Your Shop's Identity
As a vendor, once your store is set up, it's time to make it uniquely yours. To get started, click on the shop icon at the top of your dashboard. This takes you to the shop information page.
Add your store logo by clicking "Tap to add your business logo." Then add your signature line, update your shop address if necessary, and choose a category that best fits your business.
In the contact details section, your WhatsApp number and email are already prefilled with the details you entered when signing up. So you can update them or leave them. Then enter your social media account handles for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, or TikTok to boost your online presence. When you're done, click the "Update" button to complete your shop information setup.
Next, click on the settings icon for more customization options
Account settings: Here, you can update your personal details, password, or PIN.
Shop settings: You can update your shop information if needed from here as well.
Product settings: Within the product settings, you gain control over your inventory management.
By default, you'll notice a number: 3. This means your stock count on the product page will turn yellow when you have three products left. Consider it a gentle nudge that you're running low on product and it's time to restock. You can adjust this threshold to your preference. Whether you want to be notified when you have two, five, or any other quantity left in stock, simply click the plus (+) or minus (-) buttons to customize it accordingly.
Additionally, if you want your product to maintain a presence in the marketplace even when you're temporarily out of stock, Kamel gives you that flexibility. Just toggle the "List Out of Stock Product" button, and your product will stay visible to potential buyers.
Invoice settings: Here, you can set your payment terms and due dates.
By default, you'll find the "No refunds after payment has been made for this order" terms, which adds an extra layer of clarity and security to your transactions. You can customize your payment terms according to your business needs.
Kamel allows you to set the due date for invoices sent to your customers. The default setting is a concise three days, but you're not bound by it. You can effortlessly adjust the due date to any number of days that align with your financial strategy.
Bills settings: Here, you can set up reminders for your bills before they're due.
The default setting here is seven days. This means that you get a reminder a week before your bills are scheduled for payment. You can customize your alerts to be reminded even earlier than seven days if that suits your financial planning. Conversely, if you prefer a bit more time to prepare, you can set your reminders for a later date.
Order Settings: With the order settings, you can effortlessly manage pickup and delivery locations and also set up taxes and charges that align with your business model.
Click on "Manage Pickup & Delivery Locations"
To set up your pickup location, click on "+ Pickup Location"
Enter the name and address of your store (the location where customers can pick up your products)
Enter the address and costs of the different locations you deliver to.
Taxes and charges: To add extra charges tied to your products, click on "Manage Taxes and Charges."
Click on "+ Add Charge"
Enter the name of the charge (e.g. VAT, Service Charges) and the percentage value. Then click on "Add New Charge" button.
Support and help: To reach out to the Kamel team for assistance, click on the "Support & Help" button. You can reach out via WhatsApp, call, email, or simply click on Help Center.
Reseller Customization: Shaping Your Presence
Resellers, let's ensure your profile stands out on the Kamel marketplace:
Click on the profile icon below in the marketplace.
Select "Edit Profile" to update your information:
Update your name field if necessary. Type in your nickname (used as your store or website link name and edit other relevant fields as needed. Then click "Save" to finalize your profile setup.
